The ideas and craftsmanship of the art was superb and the student entries blew my mind. If you think all possible design ideas for rings and jewellery have been done, think again. Fashion Illustrator Marta Madison is guest trainer at Diamond Exchange Sydney’s jewellery sketch master class
I was approached by the Diamond Exchange, Sydney to hold a bespoke master class on sketching jewellery. I designed the 3 hour curriculum to cover the essentials of sketching rings for consultations using some of my unique drawing techniques. I was impressed not only by the quality of the rings, but of the wonderfully engaging students who proved to be quick learners and well up to the task. They showed in-depth understanding of their craft. If you ever get a chance, visit their elegant showroom on Level 5, 387 George St. George St.
Students quickly learned the art of jewellery illustration to capture the essence of a designed piece.

Sizing chart illustrations for The Swank Store
In 2019 I had the pleasure to work with Aaron and his team for a day of sketching and socialising at The Swank Store to produce a comprehensive set of sizing guide images for their website.
They have a gorgeous range of elegant kaftans, tops and dresses for those casual carefree summer nights. My job was to draw sketches to show how the garment fits on the body to help clients get the right fit before ordering on their website.
